Located smack dab in the middle of Brookhaven, you are guaranteed to find a warm welcome full of Southern hospitality and good food at Dixie Q in Atlanta, Georgia. Living in the South, it is pretty easy to find good BBQ, but Dixie Q sets the bar high. In fact, from our one-time experience at Dixie Q, both Ian and I agreed that they definitely have some of the best BBQ in Atlanta. It’s no wonder that Atlanta Magazine named it as one of the top ten BBQ joints in Atlanta!

According to their website, they smoke all of their meat daily and when it’s gone, it’s gone until the next day. They also use locally-sourced produce, in order to provide you with the best and most high-quality food possible.

Although the Dixie Q menu is full of classic BBQ dishes, you can also see Owner and Chef, Scott Serpas’ New Orleans roots shining through in a few dishes such as the red beans and rice. There was not one dish that let us down at Dixie Q, but if I had to recommend a few of my favorites, they would definitely be the 24-hour brisket, the pulled pork, the red beans and rice, the collard greens, the Brussels, and their amazing chicharron (seriously – so good!). The drinks and desserts were amazing, as well!

If you are traveling to Atlanta, or if you live in the area, do not hesitate to try out Dixie Q in Brookhaven. I can guarantee that they have some of the best BBQ in Atlanta and I think you will be impressed. Don’t forget to get there early!

Thank you so much to Dixie Q for having us in as their guests.
