By now, you should have seen my other two posts on compound butter. If not, you should go check them out after reading this recipe! Let me catch you up if you are new. Compound butter is a mixture of whipped butter and supplementary ingredients such as herbs, sauces, etc. Compound butters look pretty, taste awesome, but more importantly, they are easy to make! Compound butters are frequently used in recipes, but you can find recipes all over the internet so that you can make them at home to impress your guests! Today, I will be showing you how to make Sriracha Honey Compound Butter!
Sriracha Honey Compound Butter:
1 stick of unsalted, room temperature butter
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons sriracha
Step 1: When your butter is extremely soft, cut it into cubes and put it into your blender with the salt, honey and sriracha.
Step 2: Blend until your butter is whipped and the ingredients are mixed in.
Step 3: Put the mixture into what you are serving it in. Enjoy!
Compound Butter Tip: If you put it in wax paper or plastic wrap & roll it into a log shape, you can cut it into small circles once hardened in fridge. This is a pretty way to serve!
