Do you know what matters a lot right now? How you spend your money and where you do your shopping. Small and local businesses need our help and I have been doing my job by spending my money wisely. Have you?
One thing that I have been much more intentional with this year (overall) is spending my money wisely. I have focused on purchasing higher-quality items that will last for years to come + supporting local and/or small businesses instead of large retailers like Walmart (I’m not knocking them at all, I just prefer to support small whenever possible).
Like I said, local and small businesses need our support right now and it’s really important to talk with your money. With that being said, if you are still Christmas shopping, I would love for you to consider doing some of your shopping from some of these small businesses. And of course, supporting local businesses is also so, so important right now too. Make sure to give gift cards to local restaurants and coffee shops. There are so many small businesses to support all over the US and I urge you to try your best to support small business this season. You may be spending a little more, but you can rest easy knowing that your money benefit people just like you. One thing to keep in mind: although Amazon is a large business, small businesses use their platform to sell, so don’t rule out Amazon!
