Hey, everyone! FINALLY – our exterior paint job is done and it looks absolutely amazing. I really wanted a painted brick home in Alabaster White (Sherwin Williams Alabaster White) and we made it happen.
Before I get started, let me just say – our painting team was amazing and so affordable. If you live in the Metro-Atlanta area, check out Al’s Painting. They did such a great job that we are actually have them come back to do some tile in our master bath – floor tile, shower tile, and I’m going to see if it would be cost effective to do kitchen tile at the same time. Al and his team were beyond fantastic, though.
We originally had him come out to do an estimate way in advance because we wanted to save for it so that we wouldn’t have to touch our savings or credit cards. A few months later, he came out and pressure washed, then came out again to replace wood. And finally, they spent a few days here painting. I could not recommend them enough!
But, let’s jump into what you came here for. The transformation! Here is a before and after of our painted brick home in Alabaster White:

Amazing, right? I could not be happier! The front brick is painted in Alabaster White (like I’ve said many times) and the details (shutters, front door, gutters and downspouts) are all painted in SW “Iron Ore.” It is beautiful! I spent a very long time figuring out these colors and I could not be happier with how they turned out.
Sherwin Williams Iron Ore is a dark charcoal grey, almost black, so it is exactly what I wanted and SW Iron Ore matches our roof and our sconces perfectly.
