In all of the before pictures, you will see the old paint and popcorn ceilings. In the after pictures, you will see our new paint color and smooth ceilings. All before and after pictures were taken around the same time (late afternoon/early evening) and I have not edited them to make the before pictures darker, or the after pictures lighter – this is all natural lighting so you can see the difference that it really makes! Check them out below:
The first time we looked at our house, we hesitated on making an offer because of the popcorn ceilings. In our rental, we had textured ceilings and we learned that it is a major pain to clean. It holds SO much dust, and it make rooms look much darker than they really are. Luckily, we looked past the ceilings & did make an offer that obviously got accepted! Having the popcorn ceilings removed was by far the best decision we have made in this house (so far)! Taking off the popcorn has not only made it look cleaner, and more updated, but it has also made the space look brighter and larger, as well. We are extremely happy with the way our home looks now that the popcorn ceilings have been removed & fresh paint has been added throughout. Let me know what you think of the transformation!!
